City Payment Center

The City Payment Center performs a variety of services for the City of Syracuse and for residents including:

  • Collecting monies
  • Managing invoicing
  • Preparing tax bills for all real properties
  • Producing and mailing invoices for all city departments

Paying a Bill

To help residents pay their bills, our staff have fluency in Spanish, Burmese, Vietnamese and American Sign Language. We also offer services through Language Line, a telephone translation service with representatives who speak over 110 languages.

The City also accepts payments in several ways to make paying convenient. The City Payment Center accepts payment in various ways including online. To pay online, we encourage setting up an account on Invoice Cloud, the city’s payment processor.

Pay By Mail

You can mail your payments in with the payment coupon or invoice.

Notice: Payments should be post-marked on or before payment due date.

 

Pay In-Person

Payments can be made in person at City Hall.

Location: The City Payment Center is located in Room 122 at 233 East Washington St. Syracuse, NY 13202.

Hours: The City Payment Center is open 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Peak times are between 11:30 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. 

Parking: There is metered on-street parking available around City Hall.

Entrance: The entrance to City Hall is on Market Street.

Accessibility: The Market Street entrance has an accessible ramp for individuals with a walker, wheelchair, and requiring mobility assistance.  

Security: All visitors to City Hall should be prepared to go through a security check point. There are no weapons allowed inside of City Hall.
