Submit Minority and Women Owned Business Information

Step 1.Prepare the Information Needed 

The City of Syracuse will need the following information to certify your Minority and/or Women Business: 

• Complete M/WBE Certification Application (pg 1-14)
• Proof of Business Organization (DBA, LLC, ETC.)
• Proof of Citizenship or Permanent Resident Alien Status of All Principals
• Notarized Verification Form (pg 14) 
• Resume of Owners, Principals and Shareholders
• Copies of Stock Ledger, Articles of Incorporation, By- Law
• Certified Copy of the Previous Year's Profit/Loss Statement/ Balance Sheet
• Stock Certificates
• Partnership Agreements and All Amendments
• Federal Income Tax Returns with All Applicable Schedules
  
  

Step 2.Send Information via Email

After preparing the information from above, send it to MWBE@syrgov.net.

Step 3.Confirm Your Request

To confirm your request has been received, you should receive an email from the Minority Affairs Office.

After preparing the information from above, provide the information to us by calling 315-448-8408.

Step 3.Confirm Your Request

If you do not get through to the minority affairs line, please leave a detailed message. In your voicemail, please state your companies name, phone number where you can be reached, and a brief message for your call.
