Clinton Square Ice Rink

Announcement

The rink will open Friday, November 24, 2023, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and immediately following the Clinton Square Tree Lighting (6-7 p.m.) with extended hours until 9:30 p.m., weather pending. The rink will begin normal operating hours on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

Ice Skating In Clinton Square
Located in the heart of downtown Syracuse, the Clinton Square Ice Rink is one of the City's most popular destinations for skaters to enjoy the open air facility. The skating season at Clinton Square begins the last week in November and runs to March 1. A warming room is available for skaters to come inside and warm up. Concessions available for purchase. Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.  Ages 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian after dark to stay on the premises. Photo identification required.

PUBLIC SKATE HOURS:

  • Monday - Thursday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday: 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • School Vacations: 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

  • Admission (13-54): $5
  • Admission (55+): $3
  • Admission (12 & under): $3
  • Skate Rental: $5
  • GROUP SALES - Min. 15 (includes admission & skate rentals)
    Youth Groups/Schools: $4 per person
    Advanced Sales: $6 per person

 

 

Specials

SKATING SPECIALS -  Available January and  February, Monday - Thursday, excluding holidays and school vacations. 

  • Lunch Time Skate, Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: $6 per person. Includes admission, skate rental and a hot chocolate.
