John Dunn Ice Rink at Meachem Park

The John Dunn Ice Rink is an enclosed rink located on the South Side in the heart of the Valley. It is home to several local organizations, as well as a favorite spot for other local hockey groups. Public skate is available November 1 - March 31 according to the hours listed below. No pre-registration required at this time. 

Hours For Public Skate

OPEN SKATE HOURS:

  • Tuesday - Friday: 12 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

HOLIDAY HOURS OF OPERATION:

  • November 24: Closed
  • December 24: Regular hours
  • December 25: Closed
  • December 31: Regular hours
  • January 1: Closed

 

 

Fees

OPEN SKATE FEES:

  • Admission (13-54): $5
  • Admission (55+): $3
  • Admission (12 & under): $3
  • Skate Rental: $5

 

Specials

SKATING SPECIALS: 

  • Free Admission Wednesdays, throughout the winter months (Nov. - March). Skate rental not included.
  • Lunch Time Skate, Tuesday - Friday, 12 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.: $6 per person. Includes admission, skate rental and a hot chocolate. Not available during holidays or school breaks.  
  • Skate & Shoot Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.: $6 per person. Skaters must have their own hockey equipment and helmet.
  • Senior Skate Fridays, 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.: $4 per person includes admission, skate rental and hot chocolate for ages 55 and older.
