TRAFFIC ADVISORY Juneteenth Festival & Polish Festival

The Juneteenth Festival will be taking place in and around City Hall on Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18

In order to set up, present and breakdown the event, the following street closings will take place:

  • 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, the 300 block of East Washington Street, from Market Street to South State Street, will be closed through Sunday morning, June 19
  • 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, the 200 block of East Washington Street, east of the KeyBank drive-through to State Street, will be closed through Sunday morning, June 19
  • 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, Montgomery Street, from East Washington Street to East Fayette Street, will be closed through Sunday morning, June 19
  • 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, Montgomery Street, from East Water Street to East Washington Street, will be closed through Sunday morning, June 19
  • 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, Market Street, from East Washington to East Water Street, will be closed through Sunday morning, June 19

East Fayette Street will be available for eastbound and westbound traffic. The Key Bank Parking Lot located at the corner of E. Fayette Street and Montgomery Street will have access to its lot from Fayette Street.

The Polish Scholarship Fund will celebrate its annual Polish Festival in Clinton Square on Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19.

In order to set up, present and break down for the Polish Festival, the following streets will be closed according to the timeline listed:

  • West Water Street, between Salina and Clinton Streets – 6:30 a.m. on Friday, June 17, through early Monday morning, June 20.
  • Erie Boulevard West, between Clinton and Franklin Streets – 6:30 a.m. on Friday, June 17 through early Monday morning, June 20. There will be no parking allowed on this block starting at 6 a.m. Friday, June 17.
  • Clinton Street, between West Genesee Street and West Washington Street – 6:30 a.m. on Friday, June 17 through early Monday morning, June 20.
  • The 200 block of West Water Street will be made two-way from 6:30 a.m. on Friday, June 17 through early Monday morning, June 20. There will be no parking allowed on the northside curb line starting at 6 a.m. Friday, June 17.

All streets will reopen on the morning of Monday, June 20.
