Mayor Walsh Announces Road Reconstruction Project on Standish Drive

Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project beginning on Friday, July 22 on Standish Drive in the Meadowbrook neighborhood. Crews will mill (remove the top layer of existing pavement) Standish Drive from Bradford Parkway to Euclid Avenue before repaving it.

Work is expected to take place from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. Standish Drive will remain open to residential traffic, but closed to through traffic while crews are working until the project is complete. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
