The City of Syracuse will repave a large section of West Genesee Street on the city’s west side beginning Monday, August 14. Crews will mill and pave along West Genesee Street from Myrtle Street to Milton Avenue. The final pavement layer will be placed at a later date after all the utility covers are reset.
The roads will remain open during construction. Work is expected to take place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and be completed in about one week.
