On Saturday, May 6th, 2023, at around 11:15 P.M., Officers responded to Upstate Hospital for a shooting with injuries investigation. Upon arrival, Officers located a 19-year-old male who was dropped off by private transport with multiple gunshot wounds to the midsection. The victim was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Another victim, a 16-year-old female, was discovered with a graze wound to the arm from a gunshot stemming from this incident.
The incident location was determined to be in the 1500 block of South Avenue.
