On Friday, May 12th 2023 at around 9:01 p.m. officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to the 500 block of Oakwood Avenue for a reported shooting with injuries. Upon arrival, the officers located a 15-year-old male, who had been shot at least once in the leg. The victim was transported to University Hospital by ambulance, where he was treated for his injuries. The victims’ injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
