On Saturday, June 17th, at around 11:47 P.M., Officers responded to the area of Butternut Street and Park Street for a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 35-year-old male who was stabbed in the midsection.
The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital and is expected to survive.
The investigation revealed that a male suspect stabbed the victim during a fight prior to police arrival at the incident location. The investigation is active and ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at (315) 442-5222.
