On Tuesday, April 18th, 2023, at around 4:13 A.M., Officers responded to the 300 block of W. Fayette Street for a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 30-year-old male who had a laceration to the chest. The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive.
The investigation revealed that the victim was stabbed by Naiprisha Anderson, 26, while the two were having a dispute in the lobby of the Marriott Hotel located in the 300 block of W. Fayette Street.
The suspect was arrested and booked for Assault in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.
