On Sunday, August 20th, 2023, at approximately 12:01am, Syracuse Police Officers working in the Armory Square area heard gunfire occurring in the 400 block of S Clinton Street. Officers quickly responded and located a 25 year old male who had sustained multiple gun shot wounds.
Officers provided medical care to the victim prior to AMR ambulance arriving and transporting him to Upstate ER. Sadly, the victim succumbed to his injuries. Detectives are actively investigating the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
