Armed Robbery at Homer Wheaton Park

On Saturday, August 26th, 2023, at about 9:29 p.m., members of the Syracuse Police Department responded to 201 Seeley Road for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the 17-year-old male victim who stated that he was at Homer Wheaton Park when he was robbed at gunpoint by several males. The victim stated he was struck over the head by a gun, after which, the suspects stole his vehicle. The victim sustained a laceration to his head during the incident.  

Upstate Police later located the stolen vehicle and the suspects all fled on foot. All suspects were located and taken into custody. A total of three juvenile suspects were arrested.
