On Monday, March 18th, 2024, at around 7:37 P.M., Officers responded to South Salina Street and Temple Street for a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. Upon arrival, Officers located a 69-year-old male who was struck by a Centro Bus.
The male was pronounced dead at the scene.The driver of the bus that struck the pedestrian remained on the scene and was cooperative.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
