Road Closures for 2023 Juneteenth Festival

The Juneteenth Festival will be taking place in Clinton Square on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17

To set up, present and breakdown the event, the following street closings will take place:

  • Clinton Street, from Genesee Street to Washington Street, will be closed from 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, through late Sunday morning, June 18.
  • Erie Boulevard West, from Clinton Street to Franklin Street, will be closed from 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, through late Sunday morning, June 18.
  • West Water Street, from Clinton Street to Franklin Street, will become a two-way from 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, through late Sunday morning, June 18.

The Juneteenth Festival will host their annual parade from the Dunbar Center to Clinton Square on Saturday, June 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Please expect delays on:

  • South State Street, between East Kennedy Street and New Street
  • South Salina Street, between New Street and West Genesee Street
