Yard Waste, Leaves, and Construction Debris

In addition to regular trash and recycling pick-ups, you're also allowed to dispose of yard waste and construction debris — but only on certain days during the year. Look up your yard waste collection schedule. Note that in November and December we only pick up leaves.

When you put your yard waste out for collection, keep it separate from your other trash. If they are mixed together you may get a fine. There’s no size limit on the amount of yard waste you can throw out.
