Local Testing and Remediation Providers

The Lead Hazard Control Office compiles a list of local providers who are certified to test and/or remediate lead-based paint hazards. Please contact us if you are interested in adding your company to this list.

Providers are not affiliated or employed by the City of Syracuse. They are third-party firms that meet EPA's standards to perform dust-wipe sampling and renovation activities for lead-based paint. You may find and use firms outside this network.

EPA Certified Renovation Firms

For your convenience, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) publishes a list of certified renovation firms that meet EPA's standards to perform renovation activities involving lead-based paint.

Lead Training Scholarships

Home HeadQuarters is offering scholarships to contractors and landlords for several lead related trainings. To be eligible for these scholarships, you must be a contractor actively working in the City of Syracuse or a landlord who owns rental property in the City of Syracuse.
