Syracuse Zoning Map

In 2023, the Syracuse Common Council passed a law updating the City's Zoning Ordinance. The Syracuse Zoning Map, also called the "Official Zoning Map", designates the zoning for every property in the City. These properties are grouped together into larger zoning districts including Residential, Office, Local Business, Central Business, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, Lakefront, and Development.

Step 1.Access Map

Step 2.Search Map

Use the search bar to navigate to a particular address

Step 3.Explore Map

Explore the map using the zoom + / - pan features. 

Step 4.View Details

Click on any parcel to open a pop-up with additional details. The Syracuse Zoning Ordinance in its entirety, includes definitions and general regulations such as parking, signs, screening devices, special permits, and project site review.
