The Syracuse Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) is a free service to all residents in and around the city of Syracuse, providing professional, one-to-one financial counseling.

Financial counseling at no cost to you, online or in person
1:1 private sessions with Spanish speaking counselors available
Set goals, reduce debt, increase savings, build credit, student loans, tax relief, banking & so much more

Intake for services is currently on hold. We are in the process of switching to a different service provider for program support. This change is all about growing and improving so we can serve more people, more effectively, across the Syracuse community. In the meantime, if you are a client interested in working with us please complete the New Prospective Client form below. Completing this form will ensure you are notified when the program opens back up. We anticipate reopening in early 2026.
