Stephanie A. Miner served as the Mayor of Syracuse from 2010 to 2018. Growing up in the Eastwood neighborhood, she began her journey in public service as a volunteer for local campaigns. She graduated from Syracuse University and later earned a law degree from SUNY Buffalo, where she specialized in labor law to represent workers and unions.

Before she was elected Mayor, Miner served on the Syracuse Common Council from 2002 to 2008.
