The City of Syracuse Department of Water is working to repair a water main break on South Avenue, between Kirk Avenue and Centennial Drive, and this portion will be closed to all traffic until further notice. Northbound traffic on South Avenue will be diverted via Centennial Drive to Onondaga Avenue, and detour signs will be in place to redirect southbound traffic to South Avenue via Kirk Avenue.
