City Job Fair - May 12, 2025

Join the City of Syracuse for an in-person job fair at the Cecile Community Center recruiting for positions in various departments.

May 12 from 4–7pm at the Cecile Community Center at 174 W Seneca Turnpike

Positions Available

The City has hundreds of positions to fill, the majority being temporary summer staff in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Youth Services. Parks and Recreation vacancies include lifeguards, recreation leaders, special events, park maintenance, and grounds workers.

For parents with youth interested in positions at Parks and Recreation, applicants must be at least 16 years old, have a work certificate and government-issued photo identification.

The City’s Indeed.com account, which lists city employment opportunities, has more than 30 job titles with salaries with more coming online. Residents must live in the city of Syracuse as a requirement of employment, some exceptions apply.
