Dispute a Parking Ticket

Step 1.Click the "Parking Ticket Lookup" button.

Step 2.Input your Ticket or Plate # or VIN

Step 3.Click "Search"

Step 4.Click “view” for the ticket(s) you want to dispute

Step 5.Click “Dispute Ticket”

Step 6.Fill out the form with your information, choose hearing format, and click submit.

Step 7.You will receive a confirmation email with details of your dispute.

Step 1.Have your ticket number

Include both numbers and letters. Tickets may start with "SH" or end in "D".

Step 2.Bring your parking ticket to City Hall

Come in-person to City Hall:

               233 E. Washington Street
               Parking Violations Bureau, Room 113
               Syracuse, New York 13202

Hours of Operation:

• Monday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
• Tuesday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Step 1.Fill out back side of your parking ticket

Form must be completed in full, including signed/dated.

Step 2.Include your defense and attach any supporting documentation or proof you believe will assist your case

For Example: photographs, witness statements, copy of registration, receipts, etc.
