Cancellations: In the event the Syracuse Parks & Recreation Department cancels an activity, class, event, league, program, membership, or reservation, you will be refunded the full amount, less the credit card transaction fee. A 2.75% credit card transaction fee will not be refunded in any case. The credit card transaction fee is subject to change.
Program Refunds: Requests for refunds are required to be submitted in writing at least 10 days from the start of a program (may include an activity, workshop, class, league, or membership). Programs with registration dates less than ten (10) days from the start will not be refunded unless the Department cancels.
Rental/Permit Refunds: Requests for refunds for park permits or facility rentals are required to be submitted in writing at least 30 days in advance.

ExceptionsNo refund is available for some designated activities, classes, events, programs, memberships, reservations or services. Information on any specific exception is available at the time of registration.
