Request for Underwriter Proposals

The Request for Underwriter Proposals (“RFP”) is for Phase III of the JSCB’s Four Hundred Million Dollar ($400,000,000) school renovation program. This RFP has been organized to assist the JSCB in reviewing the capabilities and/or experience of each respondent in areas such as: understanding of New York State school district building aid formulas and procedures; the application of maximum cost allowances to the School District’s facilities; the sale and distribution of tax-exempt securities; financing through industrial development agencies and Local Development Corporations; financing through the New York State Municipal Bond Bank Agency (“MBBA”); financing with Certificates of Participation (“COP’s”); the abilities and the creativity of the professional staff, and capital sufficiency of the firm.
