Syracuse Mayor Sharon F. Owens announced a series of four community meet-and-greet events that will take place across the City of Syracuse. These meetings will provide residents the opportunity to meet Mayor Owens and newly appointed Chief of Police Mark Rusin to pose questions and offer feedback.
The meetings will be held at the following times and locations:
Wednesday, May 6, 5:30 p.m - 7:00 p.m. | White Branch Library, 763 Butternut St., Syracuse, NY 13208
Wednesday, June 3, 5:30 p.m - 7:00 p.m. | Westcott Community Center, 826 Euclid Ave., Syracuse, NY 13210
Wednesday, July 1, 5:30 p.m - 7:00 p.m. | Betts Branch Library, 4862 S. Salina St., Syracuse, NY 13205
Wednesday, August 5, 5:30 p.m - 7:00 p.m. | Public Safety Building, 1153 W. Fayette St., Syracuse, NY 13204
The community meet-and-greets are part of Mayor Owens’ administration’s ongoing commitment to transparency, accessibility, and strengthening relationships among City leadership, the Syracuse Police Department, and the Syracuse community.
