Mayor Walsh announced a road reconstruction project beginning Thursday, April 28 on West Bear Street from Genant Drive to Spencer Street on the Northside. Crews will start milling (removing the top layer of existing pavement) Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29. Crews expect to start paving on Monday, May 2 and Tuesday, May 3.
There will be one lane open to traffic heading in both directions. Traffic control and flaggers will be onsite while all construction is going on. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
