Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project on Wolf Street beginning Thursday, October 19. Crews will mill and pave from Carbon Street to Sixth North Street. The project covers an eight-block area near NBT Stadium and the CNY Regional Market.
The road will remain open during construction. Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes if possible. Some areas may be inaccessible while work is occurring but should open back up quickly and without resulting in major detours. The project is expected to be completed in about one week; actual project timeframe is contingent on favorable weather.
