The City of Syracuse Department of Water will complete a water main replacement project in the 100 block of West Fayette Street in Downtown Syracuse starting Monday, Oct. 30. During the project, westbound traffic on Fayette Street will detour to Washington Street. Eastbound traffic will be uninterrupted. Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes if possible. The project is expected to be completed in two weeks; actual project timeframe is contingent on favorable weather.
