2022 Southside Parks Engagement

Franklin Sqaure Fountain Restoration

This project includes the temporary removal of the cast iron fountain to be restored to its original state.

Washington Square Splash Pad Reconstruction

This project includes the replacement of a single existing spray bollard to a splash pad including one vertical spray and six ground sprays.

McKinley Park Pavilion Construction

The project includes the installation of a mono-slope style, fabricated steel pavilion located near playground, along the paved pathway.

Baker Playlot Playground Expansion

Westmoreland Park Splash Pad Retrofit

This project includes a retrofit of the existing splash pad with the replacement of 4 ground sprayers and a central spinning piece that will be self-activated.

Cummings Field Splash Pad Installation

The project will include the installation of a splash pad with user-activated push buttons, allowing users to control various interactive water elements, including ground jet geysers, water cannons, and a 360-degree spinning central feature in the larger play area.

Skiddy Park Playground Surface & Equipment Retrofit

This project involves the creation of a new play area for children ages 2-5, the installation of a new wheelchair swing, a complete surface replacement with pour-in-place rubber for enhanced accessibility and retrofitting of existing play equipment for children ages 5-12.
