Syracuse Brownfield Opportunity Area Planning Consultant

The City of Syracuse (“the City”) has won two grant awards via the New York State Department of State’s (DOS) Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) program. These awards will result in the concurrent creation and submittal of two BOA Plans for DOS designation: the Erie Boulevard East BOA Plan and the East Adams-South Salina BOA Plan.

With this Request for Proposal (RFP), the City seeks submittals from qualified firms (“consultants”) to provide Brownfield-related professional planning services for the concurrent development and completion of two (2) DOS-approvable BOA Plans. The submitted proposals may be from a consultant or team of consultants. The selected consultant will be responsible for the completion of both BOA Plans.
