OpenGov Registration

We've gone digital. Register for a vendor account on our digital procurement platform OpenGov to view active solicitations, access project specification materials, and apply for projects. Subscribe to the City of Syracuse to be notified every time a new project is posted. Registration is free for all vendors.

How to Register

Step 1.Go to OpenGov 

Go to procurement.opengov.com/signup to create a vendor account.

Step 2.Enter your email address and click "Sign Up"

Step 3.Check inbox and click "Activate Account"

A welcome email from OpenGov Procurement Team will be sent to the address you entered. Open the email and click "Activate Account"

Step 4.Click "Start"

The "Activate" link will bring you to a new set up page. Click "Start" to begin setting up your account.

Step 5.Fill in your name and company information and click "Next"

Step 6.Create a password and click "Next"

Your password should be at least 12 characters long

Step 7.Click "Activate"

Step 8.Subscribe to the City of Syracuse

Once your account is activated, go to procurement.opengov.com/portal/syrgov, the City of Syracuse's OpenGov page. Make sure to click "Subscribe" to receive notifications whenever a new project is posted.

Printed sets of project plans and specifications may also be obtained from the Director of the Office of Management & Budget, Division of Purchase upon deposit of a new check or money order, payable to the Commissioner of Finance of the City of Syracuse. Checks transferred from other jobs will not be accepted.

Payments may be mailed to the Division of Purchase or dropped off in-person. Mailed payments must include your Fed Ex account number. Your account will be billed directly for the mailing of both the payment and project materials.
