The Syracuse Police Department is requesting proposals from qualified mental health clinicians or practices to provide mental health awareness and wellness training to department personnel. In addition to delivering educational and preventive programming, the selected clinician(s) or practice will be responsible for conducting critical incident stress debriefings following traumatic events. The provider will also collaborate closely with the department’s Wellness Coordinator to support the continued development and enhancement of the Syracuse Police Wellness Program and Peer Support Team. This initiative reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to promoting mental wellness and resilience among its officers. Training and debriefs will not exceed 225 hours on an annual basis.
