Mayor Walsh Announces Road Reconstruction Project on Tipp Hill

Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project beginning on Thursday, July 21 on Nelson Street in the Tipp Hill neighborhood. Crews will mill (remove the top layer of existing pavement) Nelson Street from West Fayette Street to Marcellus Street before repaving it.

Work is expected to take place from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. Nelson Street will remain open to residential traffic, but closed to through traffic until work is complete. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
