City of Syracuse Announces Road Reconstruction Projects This Week

Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced multiple road reconstruction projects that will begin this week across the city of Syracuse.  Crews are milling and paving the following streets:  

• Ash Street – Lodi Street to North State Street
• Townsend Place – Butternut Street to Ash Street
• Townsend Street – Ash Street to East Laurel Street
• Hickory Street – North State Street to Pearl Street
• Belden Avenue – North State Street to Pearl Street
• North State Street – East Willow Street to East Laurel Street
• Lexington Avenue – Westmoreland Avenue to Ellis Street
• Wilkinson Street – North Geddes Street to dead end

Road reconstruction is expected to take place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and be completed in approximately one week. Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent upon favorable weather.
