City of Syracuse administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Trash and recycling pickup for Friday will be delayed by one day. Sanitation crews will collect Friday’s trash and recycling on Saturday. There is no change in the schedule for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday pickups.
The Department of Public Works yard waste self-drop off site, located at 1200 Canal Street, will be closed to the public on Friday, July 4. Metered parking downtown will be free on Friday.
Emergency public works services can be reported to 315-448-8360. Cityline offices will be closed to calls, but residents can still submit service requests to Cityline via the SYRCityline app or online at syr.gov/cityline.
