Statement by Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh:
“The Common Council’s action today on the former Syracuse Development Center (SDC) property is a positive and pivotal step forward for the project. It clears the path for the SDC project partners to secure the financing to reactivate the long vacant site as a strong and healthy neighborhood providing much needed housing to our community. I thank the Council for providing the approvals needed to get construction underway as soon as possible.”
