City of Syracuse administrative offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day on Thursday and Friday. Crews will collect Thursday’s trash and recycling on Friday, and Friday’s trash and recycling on Saturday.
The Department of Public Works yard waste self-drop off site, located at 1200 Canal Street, will be closed to the public on Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28. Emergency public works services can be reported to 315-448-8360. Cityline offices will be closed for calls, but residents can still submit service requests to via the SYRCityline app or online at syr.gov/cityline.
Metered parking downtown will be free on Thursday and Friday.
