City of Syracuse Names Hannah Li to Administrative Public Information

The City of Syracuse names Hannah Li to Administrative Public Information Officer. As part of the City Communications Office, Li will be responsible for public information and communication activities supporting city services in Assessment, Finance, Budget, Human Resources, Research, Information Technology and Analytics, Performance & Innovation.

In this role, Li supports the City’s communications efforts by producing both public and employee-focused communications and content for web, print, and social media. She will develop and distribute public information to proactively educate and engage the community on ongoing and upcoming City initiatives, programs and events related to administrative operations.

Prior to joining the City of Syracuse, Li worked in government communications and public service at both the local and federal levels. She served as a Regional Office Intern for U.S Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer’s Syracuse office. Li also worked as an Upstate Press Intern in Senator Schumer’s Washington, D.C. office.

A Central New York native, Li is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in government with double minors in Environmental Studies and Chinese Language. During her time at Dartmouth, she served as Photography Editor for The Dartmouth newspaper and Co-Chair of Agape Christian Fellowship.
