The City of Syracuse Department of Water is responding to low pressure in the water system impacting high-elevation areas and high-rise buildings. The drop in pressure is primarily related to a water main break in the 100 block of 7th North Street, as well as a temporary reduction in supply due to high wind conditions on Skaneateles Lake which are expected to improve by this evening. Residents and businesses in the area affected by the water main break may experience water service disruptions until repair work is completed later this evening.
