Traffic Advisory and Street Closures for Polish Festival and CNY Pride

This weekend, the City of Syracuse will host the Polish Festival and CNY Pride Festival and Parade. Select roads will be temporarily closed to facilitate event setup, presentation and breakdown. Please plan your travel accordingly and expect delays in the vicinity of these events.

To facilitate the setup, presentation, and breakdown of these events, the following street closure will occur according to the schedule outlined below, with no parking allowed.

Syracuse Polish Festival

The Polish Scholarship Fund will host its annual Syracuse Polish Festival in and around Clinton Square on Friday, June 20, Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22. The following street closures will be in effect, beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20.

• Erie Boulevard West, between S. Clinton and S. Franklin Streets:

From 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, through 7:00 a.m. on Monday, June 23.

• S. Clinton Street, from W. Genesee to W. Washington Streets:

From 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, through 7:00 a.m. on Monday, June 23.

The following streets will be converted to a temporary two-way street for the duration of the event.

• 200 Block of West Water Street, between S. Clinton and S. Franklin Streets:

From 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, through 7:00 a.m. on Monday, June 23. No parking will be permitted on the north curb line, along the Amos Building.

CNY Pride Festival & Parade

The CNY Pride celebrates Pride Month with its annual CNY Pride Festival & Parade in Progress Park at the Syracuse Inner Harbor on Saturday, June 21. The following street closures will be in effect, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 21.

West Kirkpatrick Street, from Van Rensselaer and Solar Streets:

From 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, through 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. 

Please expect intermittent delays on Saturday, June 21, on:

• Solar Street, between Hiawatha Blvd West and Spencer Street

No Parking is allowed on Solar Street

WASHINGTON STREET GARAGE PARKING

Easy and convenient parking is available for those attending the Syracuse Polish Festival at the Washington Street Garage, located at 340 W. Washington Street. The garage is available for parking 24 hours a day.
