Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project on Thurber Street beginning Saturday, July 5. Crews will mill and pave from East Brighton Avenue to Comstock Avenue. The road will be closed during construction from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. with traffic detours in place. Drivers may experience delays and are advised to use alternate routes if possible. The project is expected to be completed in about one week; actual project timeframe is contingent on favorable weather.
