MAYOR OWENS ANNOUCES ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT ON SOLAR STREET

Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse Mayor Sharon F. Owens announced a road reconstruction project will begin on Sunday, October 4 on Solar Street. The project will include paving Solar Street between Plum and Court Street. During construction, the road will be closed between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with traffic detours in place. Drivers may experience delays and are advised to use alternate routes if possible. Construction is expected to be completed within 48 hours; actual timeframe is contingent on favorable weather.
