The Creekwalk Improvement Project Phase 3 will extend the Creekwalk by adding 3 miles of trail along Onondaga Creek from West Colvin Street to Dorwin Avenue. Once completed, the full Creekwalk will span nearly 8 miles, connecting Onondaga Lake to Dorwin Avenue. This extension will provide a vital recreational corridor along the southern half of Syracuse, while also serving as an important commuter route for pedestrians and cyclists. Additionally, new access points to Onondaga Creek will be developed as part of the Creekwalk project. The project is currently in design phase and will include public meetings and feedback from residents starting in May 2025.
