The restoration project aims to return Furnace Brook to its pre-storm volume and capacity while repairing stone channel walls and park turf damaged by Tropical Storm Fred. The work encompasses brook dredging, sediment removal, and channel wall reconstruction utilizing riprap design methodology. Upon completion, the park will be restored to full operational functionality for public use.
