Municipal Violations Bureau (MVB)

The Municipal Violations Bureau (MVB) handles the adjudication of tickets issued by the City of Syracuse.

The MVB includes the BAA, which handles the adjudication of Notice of Violation Tickets issued by the Department of Code Enforcement for non-compliant property code violations; the Parking Violation Bureau which handles adjudication of parking tickets and School Zone Traffic Enforcement tickets issued by the Syracuse Police Department for parking and automated traffic violations; and health and sanitation tickets issued by the Department of Public Works for illegal set out and cart violations.

The BAA handles non-compliant property code violation ticket disputes and hearings.

Health & Sanitation Violations

The Municipal Violations Bureau (MVB) handles Health and Sanitation Violation ticket disputes and hearings for illegal set-outs and cart violations issued by the Department of Public Works (DPW).
