Priorities

1. Overview

Digital Services aims to reduce technical debt and eliminate unsupported platforms while creating a more sustainable and easily maintainable system landscape. We emphasize improving the overall experience for both internal and external end-users and establishing a network of services that empowers departments to manage and control their processes more effectively. Additionally, we seek to strengthen public confidence in the city's ability to deliver resources and enhance data management practices to support advanced analytics.

  • Identifying and addressing aging technical debt/infrastructure

4. Prioritize people, process, then technology

  • To advocate for a standard implementation methodology with a holistic framework approach
  • Use technology as one of many solutions, not a silver bullet solution

5. Advance internal and external service delivery
