Chief of Fire

Michael Monds

  • Ensures that the Department's Mission is executed efficiently and effectively. 
  • Creates a vision of the desired future state of the Department. 
  • Develops strategic goals and objectives.
  • Plans, organizes, directs, staffs, coordinates, and controls all Departmental functions and empowers and leads all fire department personnel.

 

First Deputy Chief

Daniel Downes

  • Assists Chief of Fire with management of the department.
  • Oversees the day to day operations of the Fire Department.
  • Has the ability to assume the responsibilities, duties, and authority of the office of Chief of Fire.
  • Charged with acting for and in place of the Chief of Fire when required.

Executive Deputy Chief

Richard Kisselstein

  • Assists Chief of Fire with management of the department.
  • Serves as the contact for human resources and labor relations matters.
  • Has the ability to assume the responsibilities, duties, and authority of the office of Chief of Fire.
  • Charged with acting for and in place of the Chief of Fire when required.
